I was inside of a Walmart shopping for my kids for this Christmas. I bought as many gifts as i could, because i wanted to give my kids a Christmas i was never able to have. I bought 3 toys, 3 books and a few games for my kids. I was going to buy 5 movies, one for everyone in my family. I went to the check out and i was $37 short. I was very embarrassed and just said to put them away. So i got what i could afford and i was off to my car to put my stuff in it. And i heard a guy behind me say “excuse me”, he said it twice before i looked at him, he was holding 2 bags, and said “here is the stuff you couldn’t afford mam” I was in Awe. I didn’t know how to react, so i just repeatedly said thank you. I asked for his name and he said Colby. He handed me a bag with everything i couldn’t buy. It was all superhero stuff ironically. I asked why he is doing all this, he said “just because”, he walked away and said “have a nice day” and walked back into the store I didn’t see the card to get here *to the site* until i got home, because he put the card in the bag. I don’t know if someone or something sent me a superhero or an angel, but i’ll never forget it. Thank you

I had just left the Hospital after having my son being diagnosed with pneumonia. We were in McDonald’s talking about the new Star Wars toys. There was this box that he really would like so I called his mom to ask if I could get it for him. A lady was in line ahead of us and she bought him a happy meal and the toy for him! She said Merry Christmas and past along the just because card.

After my son being completely sad and sick for the last week he perked right up and had the biggest smile that I hadn’t seen in a week!

Merry Christmas mystery lady! Hope you know how much you made my sons day!

Can’t wait to use this card to brighten someone else’s day.

So it was Christmas Eve Eve and my daughter and I were making a last minute run to Walmart to get some odds and ends to finish holiday crafts and a frozen pizza for dinner. We were in the self-check out and my card was denied (3 times). I knew I had more than enough money so the manager said she would run it at her register because sometimes the self-checkout registers act up. My card was denied again – I said, well we will have to come back because I know we have the money. She looked at me and said no worries – she paid it and then handed us our things and a “Just Because” card. My daughter was in awe and so very thankful. I has beyond humbled because in my wallet I had many “Just Because” cards ready to pass out.

As the evening went on God really spoke to me… He said – “You love to do for others, but tonight you were finally humble enough to receive.” In this season of giving – remember He came in such a simple way and all we have to do is simply receive the King. Merry Christmas and thank you to that manager at Walmart who loved on us.

It’s not just one of those days. It’s one of those weeks, those months, those years. Usually, I am super stressed all day every day just trying to figure out our way through this. Today, since my husband was having surgery, (he’s been sick for over 5 years now ) I decided to give all the worry up for one day and just focus on getting him home safely. A lot went wrong, it still is, but in the middle of the chaos, a kind stranger paid for my groceries at Walmart. To some, it may not have been much, maybe $20-$30, but to us right now that’s everything. I don’t know if she even knows how much she did, how much every dollar was a blessing. Today I just couldn’t worry about money, and because of her, I didn’t have to. I am so thankful. I will pay it forward as soon as possible. Sending prayers of thanks to God and this kind stranger doing his work. Thank you all for your part in this program.

At checkout and total came out to a little more than expected and a nice woman and gentleman handed us a gift card and a Just Because card. Totally unexpected and grateful.
