SAY THIS:
What is better than gold? THE BIBLE IS BETTER THAN GOLD.
BASIC TRUTH: GOD MADE ME. GOD LOVES ME.
JESUS WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND FOREVER.
DO THIS:
MORNING TIME
When you go into your child’s room this month, say, “Good morning, [child’s name]! Guess who loves you ALL the time. God does! God loves you all the time!”
DRIVE TIME
As you drive, take turns finishing the sentence, “The Bible is better than _______.” End with, “The Bible is better than gold, because it teaches us that God made us, God loves us, and Jesus wants to be our friend forever!”
CUDDLE TIME
Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, Your teachings are worth more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. Thank You for all the people that helped write the Bible so we can know God made us, God loves us, and Jesus wants to be our friend forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
BATH TIME
Add bath crayons to bath time. Show your child how to draw hearts with them. Each time he/she draws a heart, say together, “God loves me!”
