SAY THIS:
What is better than gold?
THE BIBLE IS BETTER THAN GOLD.
 PSALM 119:72; JEREMIAH 31:3
The Bible teaches that God loves us
with an everlasting love, and that is
worth more than gold.
DO THIS:

 MORNING TIME

When you go into your child’s room this month, say, “Good morning! Who loves [child’s name] all the time? God loves [child’s name] all the time!”

 DRIVE TIME

As you drive, take turns naming friends. End by saying, “And Jesus is our friend! God loves us so much, He gave us Jesus to be our friend forever!”

 CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, Your teachings are worth more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver. Thank You for all the people that helped write the Bible so we can know that Jesus is alive and wants to be our friend forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

 BATH TIME

Add shaving cream to bath time. Once your child has spread it on the bathtub wall or the side of the tub, show them how to draw hearts in the shaving cream. Each time they draw a heart, say with them, “God loves me!”

BASIC TRUTH:
GOD MADE ME. GOD LOVES ME.
JESUS WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND FOREVER.
FROM PARENT CUE:
ONE QUESTION YOUR PRESCHOOLER IS ASKING
This is an excerpt from the Phase Guides
By Kristen Ivy and Reggie Joiner

Parenting is hard. Just when you think you understand your kid, everything changes. And then you have to get re-acquainted with them and figure out a new way to parent. It might be helpful to know that every kid at every phase is asking a unique and fundamental question. How you answer that question for your child will communicate the one thing they need most: LOVE.

Life for your preschooler can be confusing. It’s okay to throw a ball, but not a rock. You can hug your friend, but not squeeze his neck. Your preschooler is learning the rules for life and encountering some necessary discipline.

Your preschooler is asking one major question:

“AM I OKAY?”
