KNOWLEDGE:
LEARNING SOMETHING NEW SO YOU CAN BE
BETTER AT WHATEVER YOU DO
DO THIS:

 MORNING TIME

Greet your preteen this morning and give them a big hug! Focus on spending time with them before school—eat breakfast together or do a GodTime card with them. Whatever you do, just know that your intentionality will mean a lot to them!

 DRIVE TIME

While in the car ask your preteen, "What is the difference between being smart and wise? How do you know what's wise?" Parents, share your answers, too!

 MEAL TIME

Q&A for kids: What is one subject or area of life that you would consider yourself an expert in?
Q&A for parents: If you could go back to school or some other training, what would you like to study/learn how to do?

 BED TIME

Make a list of things that you know God says are important. If you aren’t sure, that’s okay! There’s one thing that God says is most important to know. It’s something Jesus said when He grew up: Love one another . . . just as I have loved you, (John 13:34, NIrV). When you know that, and ask God to help you discover what it means, you're on the way to the most important knowledge you'll ever have.
