Bible Story

Genesis 6:8-33, 7:1-24, 8:1-9:17

God tells Noah to build a boat, floods the world, and promises to never flood the world again.

SAY THIS

Who's got it?
God's got it.

Daily Cues

Morning Time

When you go into your child's room, say, "Good morning! I am so excited to spend the day with you! I know that no matter what happens, God's got it!"

Drive Time

As you drive or take a walk, see how many animals you can find. Can you find a bird, cat, dog, or cow? Talk about how all the animals were safe on the boat with Noah. Noah knew that God's got it, and so can we!

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child this month and pray, "Dear God, We can learn a lot from Noah's story. Noah trusted You and did what You said. He knew that no matter what happens, You've got it. I pray that (name of child) and I will trust that You've got it. No matter how big or small it is, You love us and will take care of us. We love You, God. In Jesus' name, amen."

Bath Time

Add a small plastic basket and toy plastic animals to bath time. Encourage your child to pretend the basket is the boat Noah built. Each time your child puts the animals in the "boat," do one of the following actions: 1. Name the animals 2. Count the animals 3. Make the animal sounds 4. Name the color of the animals. Talk about how Noah trusted that God's got it, and God did!
