Bible Story

Matthew 26:20-30; 27:45-50; 28:1-7

People hurt Jesus so bad that He dies, but on the third day, Jesus comes back, just like He said.

SAY THIS

Who wants to be your friend forever?
Jesus wants to be your friend forever.

Morning Time

When you go into your child's room, say, "Good morning! It is an amazing day because Jesus is alive and He wants to be our friend forever!"
 

Drive Time

As you drive or take a walk, talk about how Jesus made fish and bread for His friends to eat for breakfast. Ask your child, "If Jesus made breakfast for you, what would you want Him to make?"

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child this month and pray, "Dear God, thank You for the Church. Thank You for Jesus. Help [name of child] and me be willing to share our food, clothes, and home so we can be a good friend the way Jesus is a good friend. We love You, God. In Jesus' name, amen."
 

Bath Time

Add plastic toy people to bath time. (Action figures totally work, too!) Encourage your child to line them up on the tub and say to them, "Jesus is alive and He wants to be your friend forever." Talk about how Jesus told all of His friends to make sure everyone everywhere knows that He loves them and wants to be their friend forever.
