David Protects Sheep
1 Samuel 17:34-37

David trusts that God is with him and has the strength and courage to protect the sheep from a lion.
 

Week Three

David and Goliath
1 Samuel 17:1-50

David battles Goliath with only a sling and a stone when King Saul and his army are too afraid.
 

Week Four

David Helps Mephibosheth
1 Samuel 20:14-17; 2 Samuel 9:1-13

King David helps Jonathan's son, Mephibosheth, and shows kindness to Jonathan's family.

Week Five

David Praises
2 Samuel 6:12-15

King David praises God to say, "Thank You!"

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, say: "Good morning! I’m so glad God made you, and made you to do big things today."
 

Drive Time

While on the go, tell your child: "God made you to do big things." (Name some things your child can do.)

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, You made us to do big things for others. Help us to always remember that."
 

Bath Time

During bath time, say: "God has given us so many things to do. What are some ways we can help people?"
