I would like to ask for prayer for a recent diabetes diagnosis. It has been a very difficult road to this point with all that has come before this - emotionally, mentally, and physically. I've started making changes in a better direction. I am working through the process of learning what my personal food triggers are for blood sugar spikes, adapting to a new mindset, a new way of eating, and a new way of staying active as much as I can. I am blessed in that I absolutely love vegetables and fruit, but need to consistently adapt my portion sizes and amount of carb consumption. Please pray for wisdom for the right balance, for nutritional needs to be met, weight loss through eating better, discipline for the journey (thinking about avoiding needles is pretty motivating!) as well as a good report at the next doctor's visit. Thank you.
