A big shout out to ALL of our supporters
and volunteers who make
Night to Shine dreams come true!
Thank you for your interest to serve people with special needs at the Crossroads Night to Shine event. Volunteers are the heart of our team and this event would not be possible without you!
How do I volunteer for Night to Shine and what is required?
Night to Shine requires the help of thousands of volunteers across the globe and is a wonderful way to connect with and serve your community of people with special needs! You will be assigned to a team and be given guidance and support to fulfill your role.
Waivers, background clearances, sexual abuse awareness training, and an event training/orientation are all mandatory for every volunteer.
What are the ways a volunteer is able to serve at Night to Shine?
There are many ways to serve and you will have the opportunity to choose an area that most interests you during registration. Be a guest’s buddy, host a table, check in and assist volunteers, prep and serve meals, cheer on our guests as paparazzi, facilitate and engage in activities, care for guests in the sensory area, love on parents/family in the Respite Area, Parking/Security, or deliver home kits for guests unable to attend in person.
Is there an age requirement for volunteers?
Anyone 14 and older can serve at the Crossroads Night to Shine event. If under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign a permission and waiver form in order for their child to participate. The permission and waiver form will be sent to the parent/guardian after registration. All volunteers, no matter their age, must attend the mandatory training/orientation session.
Registration Opens: November 1, 2024
